How Can graves Disease Along With Elevated Thyroid Be Treated?

I was diagnosed with Graves disease and elevated thyroid. I was put on 10mil. methimazole. After one month, 2 of the 3 tests came back normal, but still Graves positive. Medicine was reduced to 5 mil. This week I have had frequent nosebleeds and stopped meds on Wed. I have not had a nose bleed until just now and not as severe. I had a CBC test on Wed. and that was OK, however a liver and bone needs to be redone in 2 weeks. The Dr compared that blood work that was done in Nov. and it was okay except for elevated thyroid. I am a wreck...any clues what I should think???
